Stephanie Nieuwenhuisen / LA DORADA

Hi! I'm Stephanie, and my journey into tattooing started in 2017 on a study exchange in México. I fell in love with tattooing there and then, and when I got back to the Netherlands in 2018, I decided to quit school and move to Barcelona to start an apprenticeship. Best decision ever! I lived there for 5 years and then traveled some more to South America and Asia. As you've probably guessed by now, I love to travel and get inspired by different cultures, their rituals and ornaments, pristine nature and exploring the unknown.

Nowadays you can find me in the Netherlands, in Zaandam and Haarlem(both near Amsterdam). I also love to do guest spots so check my IG for current dates or to invite me to your town/country :)
I love to do tattoos in a kind of illustrative blackwork, a mix of thick/fine lines with pepper shading, and I also love to do Japanese colour or blackwork tattoos.

I'll be bringing some flash books to choose from but also if you're looking for a custom design, feel free to contact me ahead of time so I can draw something up for you!
